Is this the official FAA test?

No. Sourced 107 is an independent study aid. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA or PSI. The real test is taken at an FAA-approved testing center.

Does it cover the new chart questions?

Yes. Since October 2026 the test shows images from current FAA VFR charts on screen. The app includes practice questions in that format.
