Hunch privacy policy

Effective 24 October 2026

Hunch is published by Kipina Labs LLC, a Georgia, USA company.

In short: Hunch doesn't collect your data. Everything it reads and works out stays on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Health data

With your permission, Hunch reads data from Apple Health, such as sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, blood pressure, activity, nutrition and symptoms. It uses that data to show trends, scores, targets and experiment results. All of this is worked out on your iPhone. Hunch has no servers, and it never sends your health data anywhere.

Hunch writes one kind of data to Apple Health: the reflux or heartburn episodes you log yourself.

Hunch never uses health data for advertising, never sells it, and never shares it with anyone.

Other data on your iPhone

Your experiments, morning check-ins, tags, focus areas and settings are stored on your iPhone. The home and lock screen widgets read a short summary (your recovery score, today's targets and the time it was made), also stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Data in Apple Health stays there until you delete it in the Health app.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. Hunch only learns whether you have Hunch Pro. It never sees your payment details.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. They don't go through any server.

Children

Hunch isn't directed at children under 13.

Not medical advice

Hunch is a wellness app, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Talk to your doctor before changing any treatment.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
